The Call of Distant Fires

Not a full video but more than a static image, it's the Shadowjack Animated Audio Player. Semi-official first release from the upcoming transmedia project "First Bloom". The music tells the story of humankind's development of faster than light travel; expansion into the galaxy; encounter with an alien species; and mutual decline after nearly wiping each other out. The album is a companion soundtrack to an interactive ebook of the same name. The ebook is in the format of a historical reference about various important spacecraft from a 200 year time period, the "First Bloom", of humanity's expansion into the galaxy.
